PLACES TO STAY

There are countless accommodation options for every preference and budget. We have luxury island resorts, boutique hotels, guesthouses and liveaboard safari boats. You can expect Maldivian hospitality in whichever budget range you choose.

Resorts in Maldives are self sustaining and they exist on their own private island. These range in size from 2 sq km to multi-island resorts. The facilities at the resort you choose, such as restaurants, bars, sports facilities, spa and entertainment are the only ones you will have access to during your stay.

As for shopping, majority of the resorts will have a retail shop for souvenirs, apparel, jewellery and other essentials. Most resorts offer excursions by boat to nearby local islands or the capital city, otherwise you will stay on the resort island for the duration of your stay.

You dont necessarily have to stay at an exclusive resort to enjoy Maldives.

During the past few years, budget friendly guesthouses were introduced in the local islands so visitors has been experiencing Maldives in a totally different way.

There are 550 local island guesthouses in almost all atolls of the Maldives.

If you a keen diver, a surfer or just want to cruise through the atolls. Maldives offers a range of vessels to choose from.

Liveaboards allow visitors to explore areas beyond the reach of the usual holiday, transporting you to some of the most remote and spectacular diving and surfing locations in the Maldives.

There are currently 125 vessels ranging from the more traditional single deck boats to more spacious multi-deck vessels with luxury amenities.

If you prefer the hustle and bustle of the city, then the capital city of Male’ or the nearby island of Hulhumale’ will be perfect for you.

A variety of small budget guesthouses to boutique hotels are available.
